Cody W. Petrie, M.D.
Dr. Petrie is an emergency medicine physician with fellowship training and certification in primary care sports medicine. He completed his EM residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix and his sports medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine — Phoenix.
He serves as Associate Program Director for Evaluation and Recruitment, overseeing applicant evaluation, recruitment events, interviews, and rank list processes for the program. His professional interests center on medical education and advancing evidence-based practices in emergency medicine.
In addition to his work in the emergency department, Dr. Petrie serves as a team physician for Arizona State University and as a track physician for Phoenix Raceway. Outside his professional roles, he enjoys staying active with his family, hiking Arizona's trails, boating, and the southwest sunshine.
Dr. Petrie enjoys overpriced coffee, vintage cars, and overanalyzing everyday purchases far beyond what most would consider reasonable.
