Lauren B. Querin, M.D., M.Ed.

Dr. Querin is an emergency medicine physician with specialized expertise in medical education. She completed a fellowship in medical education with a focus on graduate medical education following her emergency medicine residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals.

Her academic interests include curriculum development, professional identity formation, qualitative research in medical education, and resident well-being. She has held multiple mentorship and leadership roles in both undergraduate and graduate medical education, contributing to the advancement of training programs and the development of the next generation of physicians.

As Program Director, Dr. Querin leads the Mayo Clinic in Arizona Emergency Medicine Residency and is responsible for overall program design, accreditation, and resident development. She is a graduate of the CORD Residency Administration Fellowship (2022) and continues active scholarly work in qualitative medical education research.
