
Wayne A. Martini Jr., M.D.
Dr. Martini is an emergency medicine physician with interests in emergency medicine research, medical education, and health care analytics. He has authored multiple publications and works actively with medical students and residents from both an education and research perspective.
He serves as Associate Program Director for Clinical Curriculum and Simulation, overseeing resident education in procedural training and simulation in close partnership with the Director of Residency Procedural Education. This role includes organizing and leading monthly simulation sessions for the residency.
Dr. Martini is involved in the Arizona chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and has received grant funding for his work. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing with his kids, hiking, and preparing for his next D&D adventure.
With a preschooler, toddler, and an infant at home, a real chunk of Dr. Martini's week is spent as a human jungle gym and full-time bedtime-story narrator.
